Step 2: Create a Form With Signature Field

While you’re inside your WordPress admin menu, go to WPForms » Add New.

Now, you’ll need to enter a name for your form and select a template. WPForms has a big library of over 2,000+ form templates. Many of these templates include a signature field by default.

I’ll use the School Club Registration Form Template for this tutorial. Once you select the template, it will load up inside the form builder in just a few seconds.

For this particular template, you can find the Signature field at the bottom.

Signature field options

All WPForms templates are fully customizable. That means you’re free to customize this template by adding new fields, removing any existing fields, or changing their settings.

For instance, you can change the ink color for the Signature field by using the color picker in its Field Options if you want.

See this guide on creating forms with electronic signatures for more details.

After you’re done with the customizations, make sure to press the Save button.
