WPForms 1.2.3

Better Form Notifications, Smart Tags, and More – WPForms 1.2.3

After the Campaign Monitor addon, we focused our attention to the form notification system.

There were a lot of feature requests from you guys as it pertains to our notification system. So here’s what’s new in WPForms 1.2.3:

Multiple Form Notification

Multiple Form Notifications

The number one feature request that you guys asked for was to allow for multiple notifications. Now you can.

You can create a notification for user confirmation, for specific departments in your companies, specific people in your organization, and more.

Notification Conditional Logic

Notification Conditional Logic

When creating multiple notifications, you may want to only trigger some based on specific conditions.

So we expanded our smart conditional logic addon, and it’s now available as part of the Basic plan.

Previously only our Pro and Ultimate users enjoyed this functionality, but we felt that it’s essential for all users.

Powerful Smart Tags

WPForms Smart Tags

In the past the smart tags were limited to the Name and Email field. We expanded that and added a dozen new smart tags.

You can see a preview of few of them in the screenshot above. Now you can add tons of additional information in your notifications such as which page the user contacted you from, their IP address, and other field information.

Other Misc. Updates

There were a lot of under the hood improvements in this release.

We added a system details tab to WPForms Settings, to display debug information, etc. This should be helpful when you need to request support from our team.

The WPForms Preview page is now hidden in the WordPress dashboard to avoid confusion.

Several form builder JavaScript improvements were made in this update and we improved the internal logging and debugging tools.

That’s all for this update, but we have more in store for you next week.

We want to thank you for all your support and feedback in making WPForms the best drag & drop WordPress form builder.
