Introducing the New WPForms Coupons Addon

Editorial Note: We may earn a commission when you visit links on our website.

Online payment forms are a great way to make money from your website. And since we opened up Stripe to all our customers, taking payments is easier than ever.

But with the holiday season fast approaching, you told us that you needed one more thing: an easy way to run a sale.

Discounts and coupons are crucial for building loyalty, driving revenue, and competing in crowded markets. If you don’t have a way to offer deals easily, you’ll miss out on the buzz that a good sale can create.

And without a way to discount your prices, you can’t offer new customer incentives or free shipping. We quickly realized that you need an easy way to achieve this.

We’re thrilled to announce the brand new Coupons addon is available now… and it does all of this and more!

Let’s take a look at how the new WPForms Coupons addon works.

Simple Coupon Creation

One of our core values is to make growing your business stupid simple. We made it easy to attract new customers and build loyalty with highly customizable coupon offers.

All you need to do is create a coupon in the Coupons tab.

Coupons tab on the Payments page in WPForms

From here, you can:

  • Offer free shipping: Create deals with fixed discounts that remove the shipping cost
  • Share one-time coupons: Generate random coupon codes that can only be used once — perfect for store credit, refunds, or new customer offers
  • Generate coupons for welcome popups: Welcome customers with a percentage discount
  • Run seasonal sales: Plan ahead with seasonal coupons that start and end on specific dates
  • Generate FOMO: Run flash sales with coupons that can only be redeemed a certain number of times
  • Customize coupons: Create branded coupon codes or generate a random code in a click

Adding new coupon - WPForms

This makes the Coupons addon flexible enough for any promotion or sale.

We understand that coupons need to be locked down to prevent misuse, too. That’s why we made it easy to select the forms each coupon can be used on.

You don’t need to know any coding. It’s all done with the click of a mouse.

Choose the forms to map your coupons

And when you’re ready to add the coupon field to your form, it’s done using the same simple drag-and-drop process you know and love.

Use the drag-and-drop form builder to add the coupon field to your form

Whether you’re using Stripe, Square, PayPal, or Authorize.Net, you can apply coupons in just a few seconds. It’s easy to add coupons to forms you’ve already created.

All of this functionality gives you the flexibility to run sales whenever you want, without the hassle of installing a full ecommerce plugin.

Track Coupon Usage at a Glance

Keeping an eye on your coupons is important.

You’ll want to make sure that your discounts are effective in driving more sales, and you’ll also want to know which payments were discounted, and which coupon was used to generate that discount.

It’s easy to track each coupon in your Payments screen, right where you see your summary chart.

View your coupon data from the Payments page

When you click on the coupons option, you’ll see a chart that represents all of your coupon data over a given period of time.

You can also look at individual payments to see which coupons the customer used.

And that’s it! All the payment information you need is in one place.

The Coupons addon is available now to our Pro and Elite customers. We’d love you to take it for a spin and let us know how you’ve used it to grow your business.

  1. Hi I have this plug in on our Dashpoint.org website. The old board member paid the annual fee on July 6th 2023 for our site, and when I try to edit the form on our site I get redirected to your website to resign in. My email address has never been used on your site before so I do not have a log in. Please advice. INVOICE 2529875 was paid by Jim West for our clubs site. But he is no longer active in maintaining the site.
