How Do I Create a Donation Page in WordPress?

You can easily create a donation page on your WordPress site by using this donation form template. It lets you quickly publish a form that your donors can use, and you can connect it up to your Stripe account in the form’s settings.

With this form, you don’t need to sign up for a complicated crowdfunding platform and you’re in control of how the donations are collected.

Sometimes you’ll want to suggest an amount for donors to send. This form is set up with a suggested amount of $5, but this amount can be customized. If you prefer, you can leave the donation amount blank and let your visitors type in their own figure.

We’ve added a Stripe field to the form so that you can easily collect the donation. When the form’s submitted, Stripe will charge the donor’s card. WPForms doesn’t see or store your card details, and they’re not saved anywhere in your WordPress database, which keeps everyone’s payment details secure.

To make it easier to keep track, we also added fields for the donor to fill out their name, email address, and a message. You can add extra fields if you need to collect more information from your donor. For example, if you’re fundraising for different campaigns, you could add a dropdown so that your visitor can choose the one they’d like to donate to.

WPForms makes it easy to create as many donation forms as you need and embed them anywhere on your site. Get started with WPForms today to start using our Variable Donation Form.
