Use the credit card authorization form to charge a credit card with a small payment using Stripe. You can quickly customize the below template to fit your needs without any coding knowledge!
What Should Be On a Credit Card Authorization Form?
A credit card authorization form needs to securely capture card type, name, number, and expiration date.
Since this authorization form is designed for easy customization, we set the Total for the charge at $10. It’s easy to change this amount to a lower number if you want to authorize someone’s card with a small test payment.
In WPForms, you can also change the currency to your own local currency to make it easy to transfer funds to your bank account.
If you wanted to develop this form into an order form, you’d want to add some Items fields to define the items that you’re charging for. You could also add an address field if you’d like to capture the full billing address when you charge the customer.
The form includes a checkbox field so that the cardholder has to give their consent. If you wanted a signature, you can add an e-signature field with WPForms instead.
Stripe is available to all WPForms users, making it easy for anyone to take credit card authorizations on their site. And because our integration is secure, the customer’s card details are never stored in your WordPress database.
