You’ve sent the quote, the client said yes, and now you need it in writing before work starts. This Contract Form Template turns an accepted proposal into a signed project contract, and it collects the deposit in the same step.

It works for web designers, agencies, builders, event planners, and any business that quotes a project before starting it. You might also call it a project contract, a proposal or quote acceptance form, a statement of work (SOW) sign-off, or a simple work contract.

Key Sections of the Contract Form Template

  • Your Project: The client enters the proposal or quote number and project name, plus a preferred start date if they have one, so every contract ties back to a specific quote.
  • Contract Terms: Your standard terms sit in a text block with bracketed placeholders for scope, payment schedule, changes, cancellation, and ownership of the finished work. There’s also a field for anything you agreed that isn’t in the proposal.
  • Client Details: Name, company, email, phone, and billing address, so you know who signed and where to send invoices.
  • Deposit: The client enters the deposit from their proposal and pays it by card when they submit. Connect Stripe in your payment settings to start taking deposits.
  • Sign the Contract: An agreement checkbox, the client’s e-signature, and the date signed finish the form.

You’ll get a notification for every signed contract, and the client can get a copy by email. Add the PDF addon if you’d like a PDF of each one to countersign and keep on file. Contract rules aren’t the same everywhere, so have your terms reviewed for your area.
