Why Use a Persuasive Essay Outline Form Template?

Most often, a persuasive essay includes a handful of standard elements, and is usually broken into five paragraphs. So, many writers utilize an outline to help organize the information that will be covered in their essay.

This template includes every feature you would want in a persuasive essay outline, all presented in checklist and fill-in-blank fashion.

First, the form covers the essay’s introduction. It briefly informs the user on what goes into an introduction, and prompts them to fill in this information. The user checks whether or not a hook is included, and is asked to write it out. The same process goes for argument summaries and a thesis statement.

Then, the form user fills in body paragraph portions of the outline. They describe the arguments used in the essay, and write about the supporting evidence. Each body paragraph section ends with a space to write a transition to the next part of the outline.

Lastly, this form covers the conclusion. The user is again asked to check if certain elements are present, and writes about them. The form user summarizes the main arguments of the essay, restates the thesis, and concludes it all with a statement.

The template format is good for visual scanning of submissions, which means that this form could be used for essay reviews or self-outlining. Form submissions are gathered in the order and format of an essay, which makes for an easily-created outline.
