Do you want to sell tickets for your event online, without collecting cash at the gate or confirming bank transfers one by one? This template lets attendees pick Regular or VIP tickets, choose how many they need, and pay through Paystack in one go.
Why Use This Template
This template fits trade fairs, conferences, concerts, church conventions, and award nights that sell more than one ticket tier. It also works well for group bookings, since one person can buy tickets for a whole family or team in a single order. Every order comes with the buyer’s name, email, and phone number, so you know exactly who’s coming and how many tickets they bought.
What’s in the Event Registration & Ticket Sales Form
- Choose Your Ticket Tier (Section Divider) – Puts the tickets first, so buyers see prices before anything else.
- Regular ticket (Single Item) – Standard entry with a quantity picker, so one buyer can get tickets for a group.
- VIP ticket (Single Item) – A premium tier with its own price and quantity picker, for guests who want better seats or extra perks.
- Total (Total) – Adds up every ticket so buyers can check the amount before checkout opens.
- Coupon (Coupon) – Lets you run early bird deals, group discounts, or promo codes for partners and sponsors.
- Some Important Information (Section Divider) – Separates the ticket choices from the buyer’s details.
- Full Name (Name) – Lets you personalize follow-up without requiring a full account or login.
- Email (your ticket is sent here) (Email) – Paystack needs it to process the payment, and it’s where the buyer’s ticket and receipt go.
- Phone (WhatsApp) (Phone) – Gives you a way to reach attendees with gate times, directions, or last-minute changes.
- How did you hear about the Trade Fair? (Dropdown) – Shows which channels are selling tickets, so you know where to spend on promotion next time.

How to Create an Event Registration & Ticket Sales Form in WordPress
The easiest way to create an event ticketing form is with WPForms. Select the Paystack Event Registration & Ticket Sales Form Template from the template library. Then use the drag-and-drop builder to add, remove, or relabel any field, including the event name in the last question.
Next, connect your Paystack account with the Paystack addon and turn on payments in the builder’s Payments tab. When a buyer clicks Get My Tickets, Paystack’s secure checkout opens so they can pay by card, bank transfer, USSD, or mobile money, depending on your country. WPForms doesn’t see or store card details, and they’re not saved anywhere in your WordPress database.
Finally, create your discount codes with the Coupons addon, and set up your Notifications and Confirmation message. Then embed the form on your event page or share the link on social media and in WhatsApp groups.
Customizing Your Event Registration & Ticket Sales Form
- Add more ticket tiers. Duplicate the VIP ticket field to create Early Bird, Student, or Table for 10 options.
- Set your currency before you set prices. Switch it in WPForms › Settings › Payments, then update each ticket’s price.
- Turn each entry into a ticket number. Add the {entry_id} smart tag to your confirmation message and email so attendees have a number to show at the gate.
- Close ticket sales when the event starts. The Form Locker addon can schedule the form to close on a set date and time.
Receiving Ticket Sales Notifications
Once tickets go on sale, you’ll want to know about every order. In WPForms, you can email your team about each purchase and send buyers a confirmation with their ticket details. Attendees get something to show at the gate, and your team gets a running record of who bought which tier.
