Loan applications can be complex, and each loan application form can differ from one institution to another. Yet, there are a few common elements every loan application form should have. The WPForms’ Loan Application Form Template focuses on these and brings them to life with a mix of handy WPForms form fields.
The template is split into three sections using the Section Divider field. The first section is designed to collect basic information on the applicant’s account manager. This is so that the form entry can be shared with the relevant person. This section uses basic Name and Email fields and is set up to send a notification to the email address entered in the Account Manager Email field.
Next, there is the Borrower Information field, designed to collect the applicant’s identification and contact details using Name and Email fields, again, but this time, accompanied by Phone and Address fields.
The third section is designed to collect information on the loan the applicant is requesting and uses a mix of single-line and paragraph text fields to seek details like loan amount, the purpose of the loan, and so on.
This section also includes a dropdown field asking applicants what the nature of their collateral is, with three options. These are Mortgage, Financial Instrument, and Other. If they choose Other, the template will then display a paragraph Text field where they can add further details.
