A long lead form scares people off, and a short one leaves your sales team guessing. This Kit Multi Step Form Template asks the questions that help you qualify a business lead, three short steps at a time, and sends the leads who want your emails to Kit with their answers attached.
How the Kit Multi Step Form Template Works
The Lead Forms addon shows the form one step at a time with a progress bar:
- About You: full name and email address.
- Your Company: company name, job title, website (optional), and industry.
- What You Need: company size, country or region, the products or services they’re interested in (they can pick more than one), how they heard about you, any questions, and an unticked checkbox for your emails.
Leads who tick that box are subscribed through the WPForms Kit addon (Kit was formerly ConvertKit). Their company, job title, size, industry, and product interest can be saved to Kit custom fields, so you can send a ten-person agency different emails from a 500-person retailer. A tag such as “b2b-lead” marks where they came from. Conditional logic keeps anyone who doesn’t tick the box off your list, while their details still reach you as a normal entry.
Breaking the questions into steps means people only see a few at a time, and the progress bar shows how close they are to the end. In the Lead Forms settings you can add a title, match the accent colour to your brand, and wrap the form in a container with rounded corners so it stands out on a landing page.
It works as a B2B lead form, a lead qualification form, a sales inquiry form, or a demo request form for software companies, agencies, and consultancies.
You’ll get an email for each lead that you can reply to directly, and the lead gets a copy. Every answer is also saved in your WPForms entries, so your sales team can see company size and interest before they call. Replace the bracketed product names with your own before you publish, and edit the industry list to suit the markets you sell to.
