Do you need a way to share hidden content with your website users? It’s possible with the Content Gate Form Template from WPForms.
With this form, you can require your form user to input a bit of information to access another screen with content.
The Functionality of the Content Gate Form Template
The Content Gate Form comes pre-made as a highly adaptable template, and it’s designed to be customized to your needs and liking. This form needs only a couple of fields to work, and, if you try out the demo, you’ll see that the form progresses through just two screens.
First, your form user is prompted with a message on that reads, “Enter Your Email to Access Content.” But since this form template is completely customizable, you can edit this message to read whatever you’d like. Keep in mind, though, that you’ll need to have this email field on your form for it to function as intended.
Then, your form user will type in an email address and click “Next.” Enter your own test email address to try it out!
On the second screen, the content is revealed. This is where your customizations come into play. The content you share here might be an image or other media, or it may contain links to other pages. Fortunately, with WPForms, using the form builder to edit this page is easier than ever.
We’ve also included a message that reminds the form user to click “Done” when they’re finished with the content, so that their information is submitted and the form isn’t abandoned.
As always, though, we encourage you to edit or add any fields or pages on the Content Gate Form that you need. Perhaps you’d require your form user to enter their date of birth to access certain content, or you might like to have additional contact information.
Ready to create your own Content Gate Form? Signing up with WPForms gives you access to this and hundreds of other pre-made templates.
