You can install WPForms Lite [from the WordPress plugins directory](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpforms-lite/). If you are unfamiliar with installing WordPress plugins, check out[ WPBeginner’s guide](https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/step-by-step-guide-to-install-a-wordpress-plugin-for-beginners/) to learn how. ## Connecting Your Square Account **Note:** There’s a 3% fee for every transaction along with Square charges if you’re using Square with WPForms Lite. To remove the additional 3% charge, you’ll need to [upgrade to WPForms Pro license](https://wpforms.com/pricing) or higher. Once WPForms Lite is active, you’ll need to link your Square account. Lastly, make sure to save your settings before leaving this screen. ## Setting Up Square Webhooks Webhooks allow WPForms to receive real-time updates from Square when a payment is completed, refunded, or updated. To do so, [create a new form](https://wpforms.com/docs/creating-first-form/) or edit an existing one to open the form builder. In the form builder, be sure to include: - An Email and a Name field - Payment items field (Single Item, Multiple Items, Checkbox Items, or Dropdown Items) - A Square payment field These fields are necessary for the payment to process correctly. After adding your fields, go to **Payments** » **Square**. However, if you need to accept recurring payments, you’ll need to complete additional settings. **Note:** WPForms Lite doesn’t support conditional logic with Square payments. This will appear in the transactions for this form in your Square account. - **Phase Cadence:** Select how often the payment should occur. Options include Monthly, Yearly, and more. - **Customer Email:** Select the Email field from your form so the customer can be contacted.
