Would you like to see how all of your forms are doing without opening them one at a time? The WPForms Dashboard brings your entries, payments, form views, and visitor locations together on one screen, along with quick links to the addons, integrations, and guides that fit your site.

In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through each part of the WPForms Dashboard and show you how to customize its widgets.

**Requirements:** The WPForms Dashboard is available in WPForms 2.0.2 and later, in both WPForms Lite and the paid versions. Only WordPress Administrators can see it. Some widgets show more data with a Pro or Elite license, and we’ll point those out as we go.

## Accessing the WPForms Dashboard

Before you get started, make sure WPForms is [installed and activated](https://wpforms.com/docs/install-wpforms-plugin/ "How to Install the WPForms Plugin") on your WordPress site and that you’ve [verified your license](https://wpforms.com/docs/verify-wpforms-license/ "How to Verify Your WPForms License").

The Dashboard is the first page you see when you open WPForms. To get there, click **WPForms** in your WordPress admin menu, or go to **WPForms » Dashboard**.

- **Stat cards:** A row of totals across all of your forms, such as the number of forms, entries, and views.
- **Main column:** Widgets for entries, payments, and top locations, followed by tiles for addons and integrations.
- **Sidebar:** Your license status, what’s new in WPForms, a spam and security checkup, and links to helpful guides.

**Note:** Before WPForms 2.0.2, clicking **WPForms** in the admin menu opened the Forms Overview page. That page is still available under **WPForms » All Forms**. ## Choosing a Date Range

By default, the Dashboard shows data from the last 30 days. To change this, click the **Last 30 days** dropdown in the top right corner of the page.

![](https://wpforms.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/date-range-wpforms-dashboard-1024x570.png)You’ll see the following options: **Today**, **Yesterday**, **Last 7 days**, **Last 30 days**, **Last 90 days**, **Last 1 year**, and **Custom**. If you choose **Custom**, pick a start and end date on the calendar. Then click **Apply**.

The stat cards, entries, payments, and top locations all update to match the new range. The date range is also added to the page URL, so you can bookmark a view you check often.

**Note:** The date range picker is available with a Basic license or higher. WPForms Lite always shows the last 30 days.

## Understanding the Stat Cards

The row of cards under the page title gives you totals for the selected date range across every form on your site.

- **Total Entries:** How many entries your forms received in the date range.
- **Total Views:** How many times your forms were viewed. This is the same Views number you’ll see on the [Forms Overview page](https://wpforms.com/docs/complete-guide-to-form-analytics/ "A Complete Guide to Form Analytics").
- **Spam Entries:** How many submissions were marked as spam. This card needs the [**Store Spam Entries in the Database**](https://wpforms.com/docs/viewing-and-managing-spam-entries/#enabling "Viewing and Managing Spam Entries") setting turned on for at least one form, or the ActiveLayer plugin.

If you haven’t set up any spam protection yet, an extra **Anti-Spam Setup** card appears with a link to the right settings. It goes away once spam protection is in place.

**Note:** In WPForms Lite, the cards are **Forms**, **Entries Backed Up**, and **Total Views**, and they always cover the last 30 days.

## Viewing Entries and Form Analytics

The Entries widget is the first widget in the main column. At the top, a chart shows how many entries all of your forms received on each day in the date range.

- **Form Names:** Click a form’s name to open it in the form builder.
- **Entries:** Click the number to open the entries list for that form.
- **Views**, **Interactions**, and **Conversion:** The same metrics you’ll find in Form Analytics. Click any of them to open the form’s analytics page.

**Note:** The Interactions and Conversion columns are only included with Pro and Elite licenses. In WPForms Lite, this widget is called **Forms** and counts your [Lite Connect](https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-use-lite-connect-for-wpforms/ "Using Lite Connect Entry Backups in WPForms Lite") entry backups instead of entries, so turn on **Enable Form Entry Backups** to fill in the chart.

### Viewing the Chart for a Single Form

By default, the chart combines entries from all of your forms. To see the chart for just one form, click the **chart icon** in the Chart column for that form.

### Customizing the Entries Widget

To change what the Entries widget shows, click the **gear icon** in its top right corner.

- **Display Chart:** Uncheck this box to hide the chart and show only the table.
- **Number of Forms:** Choose how many forms to list, from 3 to 10.
- **Form list:** Check specific forms to keep an eye on, such as a new form that doesn’t have many entries yet. When you select forms here, the table shows only those forms and the **Number of Forms** setting is turned off.

When you’re done, click **Save Changes**. The widget refreshes without reloading the page. To go back to the default settings later, click the **reset icon** next to the gear.

## Tracking Payments

The Payments widget is a smaller version of the [Payments page](https://wpforms.com/docs/viewing-and-managing-payments/ "Viewing and Managing Payments"). It shows a chart of your sales for the date range, a set of stat cards, and a list of your most recent payments with the date, type, total, and status of each one. Click a payment to open its details.

![](https://wpforms.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/wpforms-dashboard-payments-1024x822.png)The stat cards include **Total Sales**, **Total Payments**, **New Subscriptions**, **Subscription Renewals**, **Total Refunded**, and **Coupons Redeemed**. Click a card to switch the chart to that metric.

If you haven’t installed the Coupons addon yet, the Coupons Redeemed card includes an **Install** or **Activate** link so you can set it up without leaving the page. In WPForms Lite, this card links to upgrade options instead, and the rest of the widget works the same with Stripe, PayPal, and Square.

**Note:** The Payments widget only shows live payments. Test payments are not included, even if the Payments page is set to show test mode.

### Customizing the Payments Widget

To customize the Payments widget, click the **gear icon** in its top right corner.

WPForms also supports PayPal, Square, and Authorize.Net, which you can set up from the **Payment Settings** link under the button.

## Viewing Top Locations

The Top Locations widget shows which countries your form entries come from. It includes a table with each country’s share of entries and a donut chart with the total number of entries that have location data.

To customize the widget, click the **gear icon** in its top right corner.

- **Number of Countries:** Choose how many countries to list, from 3 to 5.
- **Exclude:** Check the box next to any country you’d like to leave out of the table and chart. This is helpful if you know a country is only sending spam.

Under the widget, you may also see a suggestion to translate your site with Universally. It appears when a large share of the visitors who filled out your forms in the last 30 days use a language other than your site’s language. Click **Install & Activate** to set it up, or ignore it if you don’t need translations.

Below the widgets, you’ll find tiles for popular addons and integrations. Click Install or Activate on a tile to set it up without leaving the Dashboard, or click View All Addons or View All Integrations to see the full lists.

## Using the Sidebar Widgets

The sidebar on the right side of the Dashboard keeps your license, product news, and helpful resources within reach.

If you haven’t added a license key yet, the card turns orange with an **Activate License** button, and the Dashboard shows a fullscreen prompt where you can paste your key. If your license has expired, the card turns red with a **Renew Now** button. - **WP Mail SMTP:** Recommends the WP Mail SMTP plugin so your form notifications reach the inbox. Click **Install WP Mail SMTP** to set it up, or click the **X** to dismiss the card for your account.
- **What’s New:** Highlights the most recent feature added to WPForms. Click **See What Else is New** to see all recent updates.
- **Recommended Growth Tools:** Lists free plugins from our team that work well with WPForms, such as AIOSEO and Duplicator. Click **Install** to add one.
- **Spam & Security Checkup:** Shows whether your site has spam protection (ActiveLayer or a CAPTCHA service) and privacy tools (WPConsent or GDPR Enhancements) in place. Each item links to the setting or plugin you need. Once a check passes, it gets a green checkmark and the other option is crossed out. ## Frequently Asked Questions

Below, we’ve addressed some of the most common questions about the WPForms Dashboard.

#### Can I make All Forms my landing page again?

There’s no setting to change the landing page. The Dashboard opens whenever you click **WPForms** in the admin menu. To go straight to your forms, click **WPForms » All Forms** instead.

#### Why don’t other users on my site see the Dashboard?

Only WordPress Administrators can open the Dashboard. Users who have been given WPForms permissions through [Access Controls](https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-set-up-access-controls-in-wpforms/ "How to Set Up Access Controls in WPForms") still land on the pages they could see before.

#### Why do the numbers on the Dashboard lag behind my entries?

To keep the page fast on sites with many forms, the Dashboard uses totals that are refreshed about once an hour. A brand new entry may take a little while to show up in the stat cards and charts. The Entries page always shows the latest submissions.

#### Why can’t I pick a custom date range longer than 1 year?

The Dashboard keeps daily totals for the past year, so custom ranges are limited to 1 year. To look further back, use the date filters on the Entries or Payments pages.

#### Why do I see a link instead of an Install button?

Install and Activate buttons only appear when your WordPress account is allowed to install plugins. If your site blocks plugin installs, or you’re a site administrator on a multisite network, the tiles link to the Addons page or WordPress.org instead.

#### Is this the same as the WPForms dashboard widget?

No. The [WPForms dashboard widget](https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-wpforms-dashboard-widget/ "How to Use the WPForms Dashboard Widget") is a small box on your WordPress home screen that shows recent entry counts. The WPForms Dashboard is a full page inside WPForms with widgets for entries, payments, locations, and more.
