Would you like to be able to save, preview, or embed your forms by pressing a few keys on your keyboard? With WPForms keyboard shortcuts, you can build forms faster than ever.

In this article, we’ll share the keyboard shortcuts available in the WPForms form builder.

First, make sure WPForms is [installed and activated](https://wpforms.com/docs/install-wpforms-plugin/ "“How") on your WordPress site and that you’ve [verified your license](https://wpforms.com/docs/verify-wpforms-license/ "“How"). Then you can [create a new form](https://wpforms.com/docs/creating-first-form/ "“How") or edit an existing one to access the form builder.

In the form builder, click the **Menu** icon to open additional options.

For Copy/Paste/Undo/Redo, WPForms supports the standard shortcuts: use **Ctrl** on Windows/Linux and **Command** on macOS.

The shortcuts are as follows:

- **Ctrl + S:** Save the form.
- **Ctrl + P:** Open the form preview in a new browser tab.
- **Ctrl + B:** Open the form builder Embed tool.
- **Ctrl + F:** Search available fields for the form builder.
- **Ctrl + H:** Open the Help screen.
- **Ctrl + T:** Toggle the form builder sidebar on macOS.
- **Alt + S:** Toggle the form builder sidebar on Windows and Linux.
- **Ctrl + E:** View entries for the form in a new browser tab.
- **Ctrl + Q:** Exit the form builder.
- **Ctrl / Command + C:** Copy the selected field(s).
- **Ctrl / Command + V:** Paste the copied field(s).
- **Ctrl / Command + Z:** Undo your last change.
- **Ctrl / Command + Shift + Z:** Redo your last undone change.
- **D**: Duplicate the selected field.
- **Delete**: Delete the selected field(s).

To close the keyboard shortcuts (hot key) list, click the **Close** button or press **Ctrl** + **/** again.

You can also use the **Undo** and **Redo** icons from the bottom-left corner of the form builder when they’re available.

You can also select more than one field at a time in the preview area. This is helpful if you want to move, duplicate, or delete multiple fields at once.

To select multiple fields, click a field in the preview area, then hold the appropriate key and click additional fields:

- **Windows**: Hold **Ctrl** or **Shift** and click fields to select multiple
- **Mac**: Hold **Command** and click fields

After selecting multiple fields, drag them to move them together, or use the available actions (such as Duplicate Fields or Delete Fields) to duplicate or remove them in bulk.

That’s it! Now you know how to view the keyboard shortcuts available in the WPForms form builder.
