**Excerpt:** The new WPForms Paystack Addon brings card, bank transfer, and mobile money payments to your forms, in naira, cedis, rand, or Kenyan shillings. Connect Paystack once, switch it on for any form, and get paid right where your buyers already are.

**Content:**

Ask buyers in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Kenya how they’d like to pay you, and you’ll hear more than one answer.

Plenty will reach for a card.

In Nigeria, many will tell you they’d rather send a bank transfer straight from their banking app.

In Ghana and Kenya, a lot of them will pick mobile money and approve it with a few taps on their phone.

Paystack can already take every one of those payments, in naira, cedis, rand, or Kenyan shillings.

**As of today, so can your WordPress forms!**

## Say Hello to the WPForms Paystack Addon!

I’m incredibly excited to announce the brand new **WPForms Paystack Addon**, bringing card, bank transfer, and mobile money payments to any form you build!

Connect Paystack once, switch it on for any form, and buyers pay with their local currency in the Paystack popup when they click submit, with no new field to add.

And the best part? When a buyer pays by bank transfer or mobile money, WPForms can hold your notification emails until Paystack confirms the money, then completes the order on its own!

### Everything the Paystack Addon Can Do For You

Paystack sits beside your other gateways in **WPForms » Settings » Payments** and the form builder’s **Payments** panel. Here is what you get:

- **Card, Bank Transfer, and Mobile Money in the Paystack Popup:** Your buyer clicks submit and the Paystack popup opens with the exact amount, ready for a card in all four countries, a bank transfer in Nigeria, or mobile money in Ghana and Kenya.

![Payment interface with M-PESA options on the left and a form on the right to pay 2,500 KES; enter mobile number (Kenyan flag shown).](https://wpforms.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/paystack-checkout-popup-1024x581.png)- **Charge in Naira, Cedi, Rand, or Kenyan Shillings:** Nigerian naira (NGN), Ghanaian cedi (GHS), and Kenyan shilling (KES) join the South African rand (ZAR) in your WPForms currency list, so your form charges in the money your buyers hold.

![Dropdown control labeled Currency with Kenyan Shilling (KES Ksh) selected. Approaches accessibility by showing current currency choice.](https://wpforms.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/paystack-currency-setting-1024x142.png)- **Payments That Settle Later Complete Themselves:** A bank transfer or mobile money payment is saved as Pending. The moment Paystack confirms the money, the payment turns Completed, any user account or coupon on the entry is released, and the notifications you’ve set to wait for payment go out.
- **Every Payment in Your WPForms Dashboard:** Every Paystack payment shows up in WPForms » Payments. Open one to see exactly how it was paid, from card brand and last four digits to the sender’s bank or mobile money network, and one click takes you to the same transaction in Paystack.
- **Refunds Without Leaving WordPress:** Click **Refund** on the payment page and the full amount goes back through Paystack. Need a partial refund? Issue it from your Paystack dashboard and the WPForms record updates to match.

### What This Looks Like for Your Business

Picture a customer on your form one Tuesday evening. They pick what they are paying for, click submit, and pay in the Paystack popup, right there on your page.

Money from a bank or a mobile money wallet takes a moment to clear, so WPForms saves their details, marks the payment Pending, and waits.

The moment Paystack confirms it, the payment turns Completed in WPForms » Payments and your confirmation email lands in their inbox.

### Who Is the WPForms Paystack Addon Perfect For?

It is built for anyone with buyers in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, or Kenya. Here’s who will love it:

- **Small business owners** such as consultants, tutors, and event organizers who take deposits and fees through booking forms and want to see at a glance which bookings are paid.
- **eCommerce store owners** who want an order form that charges in local currency by card, bank transfer, or mobile money, without building a full cart first.
- **Developers and agencies** who want client sites in these markets on a gateway that connects under the same WPForms dashboard as Stripe, Square, and PayPal.

### Connect Paystack and Take Your First Payment in Minutes

Make sure you are running the latest version of WPForms, then follow along. (You will need a Paystack account in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, or Kenya.)

#### Step 1: Install the Paystack Addon and Set Your Currency

Go to **WPForms » Addons**, find the Paystack Addon, and click **Install**.

#### Step 2: Set Your Currency and Connect Your Paystack Account

Go to **WPForms » Settings » Payments** and set the Currency to match your Paystack account: naira, cedi, rand, or Kenyan shillings. Then, in the **Paystack** section, turn on **Test Mode**, paste your **Test Secret Key** and **Test Public Key**, and click **Save Settings**.

![Paystack settings screen: connection is live in Test mode, with a green check mark indicating connected status, and fields for Test Secret Key and Test Public Key with explanatory text beneath each field.](https://wpforms.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/paystack-test-mode-connected-1024x505.png)Then copy the **Webhooks Endpoint**. In your Paystack dashboard, go to Settings » API Keys & Webhooks and paste it into the **Test Webhook URL** field. Paystack uses this to tell your site when a bank transfer or mobile money payment has cleared, so don’t skip it.

#### Step 3: Turn On Paystack for Your Form

Open a form with a payment field and an Email field, go to **Payments » Paystack**, turn on **Enable Paystack payments**, and pick your buyer’s email under **Customer Email** (where Paystack sends the receipt),

![Dashboard showing a left-hand gateway menu (Stripe, PayPal Commerce, Square, Authorize.Net, Paystack) with Paystack selected, and a right panel to enable Paystack payments including description and customer details fields.](https://wpforms.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/paystack-enable-payments-builder-1024x377.png)Then go to **Settings » Notifications** and turn on **Enable for Paystack completed payments** for any email that should wait until the money arrives, like your order confirmation. Save your form.

#### Step 4: Publish Your Form and Take Your First Payment

> Run a test payment with a Paystack test card. When it goes through, switch off **Test Mode**, paste your **Live Secret Key** and **Live Public Key**, and save.
>
> Back in your Paystack dashboard, paste the same Webhooks Endpoint into the **Live Webhook URL** field too, since Paystack keeps separate webhook settings for test and live mode. Then publish your form. Your first real payment appears in **WPForms » Payments**. Open it to see the method that paid it.

The WPForms payments family already includes Stripe, Square, PayPal, Authorize.Net, and Mercado Pago.

The Paystack Addon extends it to Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Kenya, with the payment methods buyers there rely on.

Before saving anything, WPForms checks the payment directly with Paystack, so a faked or tampered payment never reaches your dashboard.

And it treats a bank transfer or mobile money payment as what it is: a payment that lands a little later.

Your notifications, the user account, and the coupon wait for the money and complete together. Refund from WPForms or from Paystack, in full or in part, and both records stay in step, so there is nothing to reconcile by hand.
